Georgia Hill and her team at Beautyberry Gardens, LLC are miracle workers. They meticulously transformed my hopelessly overgrown, unappealing front yard -- originally created in the mid-80s -- into a spectacular, envy-of-the-neighborhood landscape filled with Georgia native plants. I used to hate looking at my yard from the street or front porch. Now, I smile in this serene, eco-friendly environment that they so carefully maintain. I highly recommend Beautyberry Gardens, LLC!

Everything, from start to finish, was a great experience working with Georgia. During the consultation, she was thorough in making sure she understood what we wanted. Initially we were looking to complete a border area of the yard, but we ended up having that and another, larger area of the backyard completed after we were so pleased with the border. She recommended native plants that would thrive in the varying conditions of our backyard, while still providing the aesthetic and function were were looking for. Georgia was a pleasure to work with, and her knowledge and suggestions were what made everything come together beautifully. We are thrilled with the job she did!

I have never met anyone who knows and who cares more about plants than Georgia. After hiring multiple people to create a garden for my shady yard and then it not looking or growing the way I wanted, I had almost given up on having a cottage garden. I’m so glad that I didn’t and that everyone suggested Georgia. From planning to installation (and even aftercare!), she’s been kind, patient, and beyond knowledgeable. I completely trusted all of her recommendations—her eye for detail and creativity are outstanding. I’m planning on having her work on my other garden area soon and can’t wait.

My consultation with Georgia was fantastic. I had gotten so frustrated with my shaded yard and she offered up a world of exciting and colorful suggestions - and all native, too! She followed up with an extensive list as well, and I look forward to watching the sweet little cottage garden she helped me envision flourish.

Summer 2020 my own back yard was a poison ivy jungle, and it was no fun.
Thank you Georgia for your great work and consulting with me on all my wishes! I know that digging out all the roots of the unwanted, well-established weeds was a huge effort that will pay off into the future as maintenance is minimized. I really needed that!
’m excited to view the thoughtfully planted garden grow as the years progress.
If you are looking to beautify and healthy-fy your home and neighborhood, I highly recommend giving Beautyberry Gardens a call!

Architectural Office Legacy Garden, Midtown

Our architectural firm is devoted to sustainable practices.  When we were ready to have a Legacy Garden at our new offices we needed someone who would collaborate with us.  We have been specifying native species to all of our clients so thought we had considerable knowledge in that regard.....but Georgia's knowledge far surpassed ours and any gardener we had interviewed!  She and her team of women gardeners looked at our sorry situation [lots of roots, public pathway for dog-walkers, etc.] and designed and installed a remarkable garden that will bloom all year long, placing labels on each species for public education purposes.  Now we have an actual tool to help us convince homeowners that native is not only sustainable but beautiful.  Can't say enough about Beautyberry Gardens for collaboration, design, installation and continuing care!  Thank you Georgia.
