Plant Photographer

& Social Media Marketer

DUTIES

• Taking photos and videos of plants or activities in the plant nursery to share on social media.

• Develop copy and hashtags to accompany content.

• Managing social media to increase our reach.

• Creating marketing content - at least 3-5 posts weekly.

• Build the photography directory of plants in the garden; photographing whatever is in bloom that week.

IDEAL CANDIDATE

• Experienced photographer or has a basic portfolio (required)

• Knowledgeable of social media uploading (required)

• Experienced video editor (preferred)

• Proficient spelling and grammar skills (or uses tools to check)

• Highly dependable, arrives on time

• Team player who can take direction

• Excellent communicator

• Can work independently

• Explorative, creative personality and ideas person

EXPERIENCE

• Photography: 1 year (Required)

• Video editing: 1 year (Preferred)

• Proven experience in content creation for social media, with a portfolio that showcases your ability to engage and sell.

• A knack for crafting compelling visual stories tailored to the Instagram, Facebook, Tiktok, and Youtube platforms.

Work Location: In person, Decatur, GA.

Hours: 5-6 hrs a week, Anytime during Fri 9-7, Sat 9-2

Pay: $20-$25 an hour, depending on experience.
