The Design Timeline & Process

Consultation

We begin with a tele-consult or an on-site visit. Our expert horticulturist and garden designer, trained by the Royal Horticultural Society, will address all site issues and solutions, safety hazards, pest control. We will also discuss your specific needs and preferences, ensuring that the design and site suitability align perfectly with your vision. Let's transform your garden into a native oasis with curb appeal together!

Design Contract

Our design contract is a vital document for clarity and mutual understanding between us and our clients. It outlines the specific expectations for the project, detailing your requests and how we plan to fulfill them, along with the agreed timelines. This way, both parties are aligned on the project's goals and deliverables. We believe that clear communication is key to a successful collaboration.

3

Site Survey & Environmental Assessment

Whether or not the client has a land survey of the site, we need much more detail on the plans, taking into account the structures and large trees and shrubs that client's wish to keep in place. After calling 811 and having services marked, we conduct a linear survey, and also conduct site wide aspect testing and mapping and soil testing and mapping before considering which plants are appropriate for the environment

4

Plant Sourcing

Our company places a strong emphasis on comprehensive site analysis through soil, light surveys, and topography assessments. This enables us to grasp the distinct conditions of each location. After collecting this data, we diligently select the plants that will flourish in your particular environment but because of general native species supplies being low, we only choose the plants only after reaching out to suppliers and growers, to make sure those particular species will be available at planting time. This method helps us develop harmonious and sustainable design that is landscape informed seamlessly fits your site.

5

Final Designs

We offer photorealistic master plans, photorealistic planting plans, setting out plans, construction drawings, 3D renders, and watercolor renders, and the deliverable options that people choose often depend on the project type. Then your final design is put together and shared with you via Zoom, where we look at the plans and all of the images of project plants, hardscape materials, softscape materials, and suggested structures. Now it's time to make dreams come true and get installing!
